06:30 hrs Pick-up and Drive to Agra

After breakfast at the hotel, our tour representative will come to pick you up from your hotel lobby at 06:30 hrs. You will then be driven to Agra in an air-conditioned vehicle. The drive will take approximately 3 hours. Upon arrival in Agra, your tour guide will take you on a guided tour of the Taj Mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The Taj Mahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his late wife, Mumtaz Mahal, and is truly a work of art.

09:30 hrs Explore the Taj Mahal

When you enter the complex, take some time to wander around and admire the building from different angles. The Taj Mahal is truly breathtaking and unlike anything else you’ll have ever seen before. Once you’ve had your fill of pictures, head inside for a closer look.

Inside, you’ll find the tomb of Emperor Shah Jahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The tomb is intricately decorated with marble carvings and precious gemstones. Take your time exploring every nook and cranny before heading back outside.

As you exit, make sure to stop by one of the nearby souvenir shops. Here, you can pick up some authentic Indian handicrafts or replicas of the Taj Mahal itself. And that’s it!

11:30 hrs Visit the Agra Fort

Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. The fort was built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in the 16th century and served as the main residence of the Mughal rulers until the 18th century. The fort is made of red sandstone and covers an area of about 2.5 hectares. It has several palaces, mosques, and gardens within its walls.

Visitors can enter Agra Fort through any of its four gates – Amar Singh Gate, Lahore Gate, Delhi Gate, or Akbari Gate. The Amar Singh Gate is the most popular entrance as it leads to some of the most important monuments within the fort, such as the Jehangir Palace, Khas Mahal, and Sheesh Mahal. A visit to Agra Fort is not complete without a walk through these magnificent buildings.

14:00 hrs Explore Sunset point of Taj Mahal – Mehtabh Bagh (Sunset Point)

As the sun begins to set, you can head over to the Mehtabh Bagh Sunset Point for some stunning views of the Taj Mahal. This garden is located on the other side of the Yamuna River, opposite to the Taj Mahal. The best time to visit Mehtabh Bagh is during sunset when the Taj Mahal looks absolutely magical in the golden hour light. There are many benches and a large grassy lawn in Mehtabh Bagh where you can sit back and enjoy the views.

15:00 hrs Drive back to Delhi

After spending some time in the sunset point, you can drive back to Delhi. The drive will take approximately 3 hours. Your tour planar will drop you off at your hotel or desired location in Delhi.
